The September trip was to Windsor Castle.

An early start due to the last entry to the Castle at 1.30pm and we had a good run through to Windsor - the M4 was clear for a change!

The party arrived about 10.3oam in time to see the Guards matching up to the Castle and then the Changing of the Guard.

It was very busy, with lots of people and tourists.

Our party was able to briefly stop and reflect by the Tomb of our late Queen, Elizabeth II.

After touring the Castle with its many rooms, there was time to go into Windsor itself.

Some went shopping, others walked down to the river.

Fortunately, the sun was shining, and we missed the showers.
