To make games easier to follow we are now playing exclusively with the continuous play board rather than the traditional old style board where direction of play can be confusing.
in addition this board can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 players per game and for novice a three person game can be played with 2 experienced players showing the way.
We meet at 2.00 at Wetherspoons 'Albany Palace' on Mondays.
Monday 2:00 - 5:00 pm is cheap food and drinks!
We play games as singles and pairs. Tuition and advice is given for the novice player, we have reserved tables near the large fireplace in the new extension
Some of the players stay on to eat at the pub who are very hospitable reserving tables for us near the fireplace.
To add a bit more interest we introduced a league table for the autumn session from September until Christmas.
The spring league table has just started and will run until Easter.
Come along and give it and us a try.
