If you have (or have an interest in) any of Apple’s ‘mobile devices’ then this could be the group for you. Although the majority of our members have iPads, we do have iPhone and iPod owners, and the group caters for owners of all three types of device.ipad 222
We are a friendly, informal group where the emphasis is on the practical rather than theoretical – this is NOT a ‘computer experts group’ – it is aimed firmly at those of any level who just want to know how to use their iPad.
The group currently meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month, with a physical meeting (in Southwick Village Hall) on the second Wednesday of each month, and a virtual meeting (via Zoom)on the fourth Wednesday.
The hall meetings cover (1) news, (2) problems and queries, plus (3) a topic on iPad/iPhone operation. The Zoom meetings provide a convenient forum for news, problems, and general discussion.
The group continues to offer informal beginner sessions for small groups (to be held in members’ homes) along with similar sessions for those who wish to learn more about Pages or Numbers.
Meetings are 2 hours (from 9.30 – 11.30). Current membership is 26, with a typical attendance of around 16 each session.
To avoid disappointment please do not attend any events, group meetings or monthly meetings as a visitor unless you have, in advance, contacted the event organiser / group leader. For Group Meetings or Events please use the 'Leader/Organiser' link above. For monthly meetings only the Membership Secretary, Thank you.
