A talk by Alan Soldat
Inaugurated in 1923 and designed by Ragnar Ostberg, the City Hall is an example of National Romantic style. The site, overlooking Riddarfjarden (The Knight Firth), inspired a central motif, namely the juxtaposition of city architecture and water that represents a central feature of Stockholm's beautiful cityscape as a whole.
