Thursday 7th November 2024 was a dull day but it didn’t deter 52 members who headed to London for the day.

We were late arriving due to problems on the M4. The first drop off was at the V&A where members had a choice of museums to visit and some met up with friends.

Then the driver – James, negotiated the traffic to Covent Garden which was all decorated for Christmas. Some walked to Trafalgar Square and the galleries.

After lunch, some wandered around the stalls and shops, walked along the Strand and went into the Savoy.

After a cup of tea and cake in a little café by the Royal Opera House, we made our way back to the coach and back through Central London to collect members at the V&A. It was a long day, but enjoyable.
