We will visit Broadway where you can stroll along looking in the independent shops, galleries and antiques shops. Perhaps partaking of an early lunch before the short coach journey to Snowshill Manor & Gardens.
Snowshill Manor dates to the 16th.century. It is best known for its 20th.owner Charles Paget Wade – an artist & architect who amassed a collection of curious and interesting objects that were for him a celebration of colour, craftmanship and design.
The garden was laid out by Wade in collaboration with the Arts & Crafts movement architect M H Baillie Scott between 1920 and 1923. They created a terraced garden of different courts for different moods.
The house and its collection were given to the National Trust in 1951
